Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunities Available
MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care services to adults and seniors. CNAs support clients in their homes by assisting with daily care needs while promoting comfort, safety, and independence.
This role is well-suited for CNAs who value one-on-one care, enjoy working independently, and want flexible scheduling with support from a responsive care team.

Job Description / Duties
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide direct care and basic health support services in accordance with each client's approved care plan and MaineTouch standards.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene
  • Providing mobility assistance, including transfers, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devices
  • Measuring and documenting vital signs and basic health observations as directed
  • Supporting daily care tasks, such as light housekeeping related to care, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparation
  • Assisting with meal service and feeding when needed
  • Offering companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence
  • Monitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff
  • Identifying and reporting safety risks or environmental concerns
  • Performing only tasks within the CNA scope of practice and listed in the care plan
  • Completing required documentation accurately and on schedule
  • Following infection control, safety procedures, and universal precautions
  • Maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
  • Responding appropriately to emergency situations and reporting incidents immediately
  • Treating all clients with respect, dignity, and professionalism
  • Maintaining dependable attendance and adhering to assigned schedules
  • Complying with all MaineTouch policies and procedures and participating in required training

Qualifications

  • Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Access to a working cell phone
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
