We are building a team with diverse talents dedicated to making fusion energy a real solution to humanity’s most pressing problem.

The HR Coordinator supports recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR activities, with a primary focus on recruiting coordination and creating a positive candidate experience. This position works closely with the Sr. HR Generalist & Recruiter to coordinate interviews, candidate communications, new hire preparations, and general HR administrative needs.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate and interviewer communications, including reminders and follow-ups.
  2. Post and maintain job openings on LinkedIn, job boards, and other recruiting platforms.
  3. Source potential candidates based on established position requirements and direction from HR and hiring managers.
  4. Assist with resume screening and initial candidate phone screens using established criteria.
  5. Prepare interview materials, panel schedules, and candidate scorecards.
  6. Follow up with interviewers to ensure feedback is submitted in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system.
  8. Support a positive and organized candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.
  9. Coordinate new hire logistics, including workspace setup, key cards, business cards, name plates, safety shoes, and other employee materials.
  10. Support onboarding activities and ensure new employees have the necessary materials and information for their first day.
  11. Maintain the staff directory, employee records, job description library, and other HR documentation.
  12. Assist with HRIS updates, benefits enrollment reminders, compliance tracking, and routine employee requests.
  13. Support company events, employee engagement activities, HR communications, and special projects.
  14. Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR, recruiting coordination, administration, or a related role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Professional and service-oriented when interacting with candidates and employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new HR and recruiting systems.
