We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Playwright to join a fast-paced QA team supporting digital transformation initiatives at Wells Fargo. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation frameworks, hands-on scripting experience, and a strong understanding of QA methodologies in enterprise-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright
Design robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks
Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues
Participate in sprint planning and provide estimates for automation efforts
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in test processes and tools
Perform root cause analysis for failures and work closely with the dev team to resolve issues
Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed in all testing activities
8+ years of experience in QA automation
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript for writing automation scripts
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Mocha, etc.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, or similar)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Financial or banking domain experience is a plus
Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
