We are seeking an experienced Principal Claims Product Tester to help modernize how we validate and deploy software within our claims ecosystem.

In this role, you will be responsible for testing new platform developments and enhancements before they are released into production, ensuring quality, stability, and seamless customer experiences. You will play a key role in advancing our testing organization from primarily manual processes to scalable, automated testing practices.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test cases for claims platform applications and enhancements.
  • Validate software changes and releases to ensure functionality, quality, and performance prior to production deployment.
  • Execute automated testing strategies using both coded and codeless automation tools.
  • Develop, support, and maintain testing orchestrations and automated execution workflows.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and testing teams to improve quality and testing efficiency.
  • Contribute to the ongoing modernization of testing practices across the Claims Platform organization.
  • Train, mentor, and share best practices with team members as automation capabilities continue to expand.
  • Participate in projects supporting new platform development, enhancements, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on increasing automation coverage and testing effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience with software testing and quality validation practices.
  • Experience building and executing automated test cases.
  • Experience with test orchestration tools, workflows, or automation platforms.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior software testing and automation experience.
  • Experience implementing automated testing solutions in a technology environment.
  • Strong technical foundation and ability to learn a new business domain quickly.
  • Ability to contribute without requiring extensive training in both insurance concepts and automation fundamentals simultaneously.
  • Experience with both coded and codeless automation testing tools.
  • Claims platform or insurance industry experience.
  • First-party medical claims knowledge.
  • Experience supporting centralized service organizations.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets using Excel or similar tools to identify trends, root causes, and recommendations.
  • Experience leading projects or coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Business analysis experience supporting technology or operational tea


Annual Salary

$100,450.00 - $157,850.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
