JOB DESCRIPTION
- Provide companion care support to a senior in their home
- Understand the importance of providing quality care by following instructions and paying attention to the details
- Follow clientas daily care plan
- Observe and report any change in clientas condition
- Provide personal care including assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
- Meal planning and preparation
- Medication reminders
- Assistance with ambulance, positioning, and transfers
- Transportation - shopping, appointments
- Light Housekeeping
JOB REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid Driver's License, proof of auto insurance
- Possess reliable transportation and the ability to be on time to assigned shifts
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Caregiving experience is a plus.
- Alzheimer's or dementia experience is a plus.
- No experience required; positions available for both new and seasoned caregivers. We train compassionate people who want to learn.
- Must be energetic, professional, and reliable
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, professional and respectful manner
- CNA License preferred but not required
- Must have COVID 19 Vaccine Card
- CPR certified preferred
