Boden Senior Living of Apple Valley, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our growing team!
Boden Senior Living of Apple Valley recently opened July 2022 in Apple Valley, MN. It is located right off 155th Street across from Target. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 64-unit, apartment style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care services. Boden Senior Living of Apple Valley is a growing community with a passionate team who assists our residents Age Magnificently. Boden was voted Readers Best Assisted Living in 2023! Shifts Available: Full-Time AMs (7am-2pm) and Part-Time AMs & PMs (3:30pm-7pm)
Wage: $15.50-$20.50 per hour
Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Culinary Assistants/Servers becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community.
In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being.
Duties Include:
  • Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, and assist in preparing and covering food.
  • Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
  • Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.
  • Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.
  • Soak, scrub, scrape and wash soiled dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident's families, and employees.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills.
