WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with mentoring, training, coaching, and supervises and completes the daily activities of the service team assigned to them to uphold all goals, policies, and values.
  • Abide by the on-call schedule, which requires response to emergencies after hours of operations.
  • Recommend and assist the Maintenance Manager with the budget to ensure the community has sufficient inventory to complete repairs in the required time and assist with ensuring Capital projects are being completed as budgeted.
  • Organize and complete daily tasks including Curb Appeal, move out Inspections, Turns, Service Requests and Capex projects.
  • Build and manage a working relationship with vendors and other contractors to ensure that all work performed is of the highest quality and meets or exceeds company and government standards at all times.
  • Assist and recommend to the Maintenance Manager the completion of all schedule community and preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Notify the Maintenance Manager of any schedule changes, delays, and complications that can affect completion of work
  • Communicate with the Maintenance Manager and Office Team daily to stay apprised of any changes or address any concerns.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service that upholds company goals, polices and standards.
  • Complete and assist the Maintenance Manager with maintaining the team's required company, local, state, and federal training and certifications by scheduling when needed, both in-person and virtual.
  • Ensure the community is clean, safe, and neat for residents and team members at all times.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in an Apartment Maintenance Technician or related field required or trade school certification in HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electricity, or related field and 3 years of experience in Apartment Maintenance Technician or related field required
  • EPA 608 Type I & II required
  • CPO certification required
  • CAMT designation required
  • Demonstrated knowledge in HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Appliances, Landscape, Painting, Carpentry, and Swimming Pools.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a smart device and a computer.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a diverse team productively
  • Demonstrated ability to work outside for long period of time in various weather conditions.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license

The hiring range for Assistant Apartment Maintenance Manager is $26.58-$33.23/hr based on experience and certifications. Overtime and bonus pay are also available. This position is eligible for HHHunt's benefits to include, health insurance, vacation, sick leave and 401K. HHHunt offers a 25% taxable rental discount if you lease an HHHunt apartment. To become a resident at any HHHunt community, all Team Members must pass standard resident screenings and background checks, (separate from employment background checks).
