Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the property's appearance, functionality, and overall resident satisfaction. You will be responsible for completing service requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with apartment make-readies to ensure homes are move-in ready.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community
  • Assist with apartment turns and make-ready projects
  • Repair drywall, doors, windows, locks, flooring, and general building components
  • Maintain common areas, grounds, and property amenities
  • Ensure vacant units are prepared for new resident move-ins
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Communicate effectively with residents, property management, and team members
  • Respond to maintenance needs with a customer-focused approach
Qualifications
  • Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
