Job description

Overview
The Creative Production Manager is a creative strategist responsible for leading the Carle Health in-house production team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in brand strategy and storytelling, and deep experience creating impactful marketing materials across digital, video, social and print channels, for both consumer and provider audiences.
A combination of in-house and agency experience is desirable, as it brings valuable perspective and adaptability to fast-paced, multi-client environments. A critical thinker, this person can effectively prioritize resources and creatively problem-solve to achieve business objectives. They are equally comfortable presenting to executive audiences and rolling up their sleeves to move projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
Location: position can be housed at any of our regional locations: Bloomington-Normal, Champaign-Urbana, Peoria
Responsibilities
  • Translates business needs into compelling integrated, cross-platform campaigns and creative strategies
  • Align brand and business goals.
  • Plans and produce high-quality content-including marketing collateral such as print, videos, and social media
  • Demonstrates a clear understanding of brand identity and campaign objectives.
  • Brings creative thinking to address design challenges
  • Ensures solutions are both innovative and strategically effective.

  • Owns and evolves brand hierarchy and narrative
  • Ensures adherence to brand guidelines through brand reviews/quality control.
  • Develops and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice and editorial best practices.
  • Ability to balance client service mindset and internal stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to deliver high-quality creative design solutions that maintain brand integrity.
  • Strong presentation and persuasive abilities to influence concepts and drive campaign development.

  • Excellent leadership, project management and organizational skills.
  • Manages all phases of production, including pre-production, production, and post-production
  • Maintains production schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Optimize campaigns for accessibility and performance
  • Leverages campaign data and insights to continuously enhance future campaigns.
  • Responsible for team outcomes, quality, growth, vision, and standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Marketing or
  • Bachelor's Degree: Digital Media or
  • Bachelor's Degree: Communications or
  • Bachelor's Degree: Related Field

Work Experience:
  • Content Production, Digital Media, or Editorial Roles - 5 years
  • Creative Leadership & Art Direction:
    • Proven experience leading, mentoring, and motivating creative teams to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Brand & Content Strategy:
    • Demonstrated capability in developing and maintaining consistent brand narratives across various marketing channels.
  • Project Management in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: both agency and in-house experience

Specialized Skills or Knowledge:
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency with CMS platforms, social media tools, and analytics dashboards.
  • Familiarity with multimedia production tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro)
  • Understanding of SEO, UX, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience in animation, live events, branded content, social media.
  • Knowledge of current trends in media and content production.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is $39.88per hour - $68.59per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
