Job Summary: The Nurse Aide assists with basic patient care activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists with procedures/plan of care prescribed by a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
  • Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions ff.
  • Performs light housekeeping duties.
  • Provides for patients psychosocial and spiritual needs & special conditions.
  • Develops & maintains cooperative and therapeutic relationships with residents, families and other staff
  • Responds to patient needs and responds to patient safety concerns promptly
  • Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

Required Credential(s):

  • Home Health Aides, Nursesโ€™ Aides and Certified Nurse Aides. Companions with no certifications must have at least 2 yearsโ€™ experience

Education & Experience:

  • HS or Equivalent
  • Previous experience as a CNA is preferred
