This Manufacturing Engineer position is well suited for an engineer with strong 3D modeling expertise, proven continuous improvement leadership experience, and a background supporting maintenance operations in manufacturing environments. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to enhance safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability while influencing how products are designed and manufactured. Description Design and develop tooling, fixtures, layouts, and process improvements using 3D CAD modeling Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality, throughput, and equipment reliability Support and lead maintenance-related efforts, including equipment upgrades, preventative maintenance initiatives, and downtime reduction Improve manufacturing processes through standard work, work instructions, and process documentation Support new product introductions by ensuring manufacturability and smooth process transitions Analyze production and equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams Provide hands‑on engineering support on the shop floor as needed Profile Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Strong proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software in a manufacturing environment Proven experience leading continuous improvement projects in production settings Background working closely with-or leading-maintenance functions within manufacturing Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, assembly, or automation Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and CI methodologies Comfortable balancing design work with hands‑on shop‑floor execution Strong communication skills and ability to influence across teams Job Offer Base salary $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience 5-10% annual bonus 3 total weeks PTO + company holidays Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance offerings 4% 401k match MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
