Job description

This Is Not a Typical Food Job

This is live events.

Packed stadiums. Concert nights. Long lines, loud music, and a paycheck that actually makes the weekend worth it.

If you've ever wanted a side hustle that doesn't feel like work โ€” keep reading.

About Cactus Corn

We're Arizona's original premium popcorn brand, family-owned since 1998, and we show up where the crowds are. Chase Field. Mesa Amphitheatre. Major festivals. Professional sports. If thousands of people are there, we're there too.

We're growing fast, we're local, and we're building something that actually matters here in Arizona. This isn't a corporate gig. It's a brand with roots and momentum, and we want people who want to be part of it.

What You're Actually Doing

You're an Event Operator. That means you show up, you execute, and you bring the energy.

On a typical shift you'll load in and set up our mobile stations at high-profile venues, run popcorn production during the event, keep lines moving and customers happy, handle POS and cash transactions, and tear down clean when it's over.

That's it. No office. No cubicle. Just you, a great product, and thousands of people who are already in a good mood.

The shift will fly by. That's not marketing talk โ€” it's just what happens when the environment is electric.

Who This Is For

You've worked events, food trucks, concessions, catering, or anywhere fast-paced and on your feet. You don't freeze when a line gets long. You want flexible weekend income that works around your real life โ€” school, another job, whatever your main thing is. You show up when you say you will.

That last one matters more than anything on this list.

The Honest Part (Read This)

This job is nights, weekends, and event days. That's when the best events happen, and that's when we need you. If you're looking for weekday 9-to-5 work, this isn't it. Currently looking for someone to work a couple weekends a month. More of a side hustle!

But if you want loud venues, good crowds, weekly pay, tips, and a side hustle people actually ask you about โ€” this is worth your time.

You'll also need to be comfortable on your feet for long shifts, able to lift and move product, and willing to travel around Arizona for events. A valid driver's license is required.

Why People Stick Around

Weekly pay plus tips plus commission opportunities. Work at some of Arizona's best venues. Flexible scheduling built for side hustlers. Real opportunities to grow into lead operator and event leadership roles. And a brand that's only getting bigger.

This is the kind of job people bring up at parties. Not to complain. To brag.

Experience helps but isn't required. We train the right people.

Stadium or festival concessions, food truck, POS or cash handling, mobile kitchen โ€” if you've got any of that, great. If you're new to it but you're reliable and people-oriented, we want to hear from you anyway.
