Position Overview:
The Director of Live Experiences and Events will lead and develop Dude Perfect's experiential offerings strategy, driving innovative live experiences, events, and entertainment concepts during a critical expansion phaseReporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be a key member of the product and experience team, instrumental to developing and executing an experience strategy aligned to the company's business goals during a critical period of growth. The Director of Live Experiences and Events will be a hands-on strategic leader who directly builds, implements, and optimizes experiential offerings while fostering innovation and driving audience engagement during the next phase of company expansion in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment.
Core Responsibilities:
Experience Strategy and Development
  • Develop and own comprehensive experience strategy across Dude Perfect's live tour, fan engagement events, family entertainment center concepts, traveling shows, and future experiential economy initiatives
  • Conduct consumer and competitive trend analysis to assess offerings that fit DP's audience and brand ethos
  • Roll up your sleeves to personally implement and execute best practice processes for experience design, prototyping, and launch execution
  • Create and maintain experience roadmaps, concept development frameworks, and standard operating procedures
  • Lead day-to-day experience operations and streamline project workflows, vendor management, and performance tracking
  • Ensure optimal performance across all experiential offerings through data-driven decision making
  • Design, develop, and/or implement experience solutions as needed (and/or directly manage external resources on these activities)

Concept Design and Prototyping
  • Create, develop, and lead ideation sessions for new Dude Perfect experiential concepts from initial strategy through execution
  • Develop and oversee strategies to enhance fan engagement, experience quality, and brand loyalty through live offerings
  • Partner with business and creative teams to define experience requirements and ensure efficient development processes
  • Implement and refine structured testing, optimization, & feedback frameworks
  • Ensure exceptional experience quality across all Dude Perfect live offerings
  • Manage external experience partners, venue relationships, and internal project management systems
  • Oversee and improve experience performance tracking, including KPIs, analytics, and review processes
  • Develop and execute experience innovation programs to stay ahead of industry trends and audience expectations

Cross-Functional Experience Leadership
  • Work closely with groups across the company including Digital, Content, Fan Engagement, Product, and more
  • Collaborate to ensure experiential strategy aligns with broader business initiatives and brand objectives
  • Build experience-centric measurement frameworks that connect live offerings to overall business outcomes
  • Develop systematic approaches to translate experience insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Create standardized reporting and project management dashboards for key stakeholders across the organization
  • Establish experience governance policies and procedures that ensure brand consistency and operational excellence

Experience Execution and Revenue Impact
  • Own and manage all in-house and partner experience operations, including live events, entertainment centers, and touring experiences
  • Drive experiential monetization strategies and initiatives, audience engagement metrics, and revenue optimization
  • Spearhead new experience development and enhancement initiatives to maximize fan engagement and business impact
  • Partner with company leaders to align experience strategy to progressing the strategic and operational roadmaps, priority company initiatives, and special projects
  • Quickly develop and nurture positive working relationships with department leaders and other key stakeholders
  • Actively build and develop experience programs hands-on while the team scales, functioning as a "doer" rather than just a manager

Required Qualifications
  • 5-10+ years of progressive experience strategy and/or operations leadership across sports, media, or entertainment events and experiences
  • Proven track record as a strategic doer who can directly develop and implement experiential solutions
  • Experience in live events, entertainment venues, touring experiences, and/or family entertainment concepts
  • Strong project management skills and proficiency with presentation, word processing, and spreadsheet tools
  • Passion for sports and knowledge of the sports and entertainment landscape a plus
  • Degree in event management, marketing, business, or related field a plus
  • Strong hands-on experience development skills, with willingness to be the primary experience resource during team build-out
  • Extensive experience designing, implementing, and executing operational experience processes directly
  • Strong knowledge of experience design, audience engagement, and entertainment industry best practices
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives managing several projects, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Enjoys taking an analytical approach to experience initiatives, including developing insights from audience feedback and performance data
  • Transparent and effective oral and written communicator; comfortable communicating both concisely with executive audiences and in-detail with tactical audiences
  • Interacts well with internal colleagues at all levels and across all business functions
  • Results-oriented, gritty, resourceful, and organized team player with the highest of ethical standards
  • Willingness to travel as needed for experience development, tour support, and location-based experience evaluation

Location: This position is located onsite at the all-new Dude Perfect HQ3 offices in Frisco, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex). Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
