Job description

Legends Global has an excellent and immediate opening for our part-time Event Staff Attendant positions with Legends Global/Knoxville at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum and Auditorium. The Event Staff Attendant reports to the Box Office Manager and is responsible for assisting patrons, scanning tickets, and carrying out other event day tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Scanning tickets or manually taking tickets
  • Operates event-related equipment such as ticket scanners.
  • Securing the property for events
  • Parking cars, directing traffic, and collecting money for parking
  • Assisting patrons to their seats
  • Providing instruction/guidance/assistance to guests as they arrive.
  • Provide guests with venue information.
  • Effectively and calmly interact with angry or emotional guests and employees.
  • Deliver excellent customer service skills and positive attitude when interacting with guests, vendors, & employees.
  • Work with Security to ensure that venue spaces are empty of guests and lost items at the conclusion of every event.
  • Reports of any event related issues or concerns.
  • Always follows all operating policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to meet company standards for a criminal background check

Physical Demands

  • Constant standing and walking
  • Ability to work extended hours productively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • The position requires work in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Exposure to loud working conditions at times
