Description:
Sanford Performing Arts Center is seeking a part-time Event Manager to support the execution of a wide range of events, from professional touring productions and local rentals to school and community programs. This role requires hands-on technical knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to providing an outstanding experience for performers, presenters, and audiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of rentals, school events, and community programming.
  • Provide technical support and assist the PAC Director in daily operations.
  • Coordinate and manage select evening and weekend events on the Sanford High School campus.
  • Work closely with visiting artists, production teams, and community partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Support audience services, scheduling, and event logistics as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Friendly, dependable, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of three years experience in live event management, performing arts production, or venue operations
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of theater systems, including lighting, sound, and stage management
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and navigate stairs

Pay Range: $25-$27/hour
