Job description

Position title:                                    Digital And Phone Sales Specialist

Reporting To:                                   Digital Sales Manager

Location:                                           VIP Tires & Service Digital Sales Office, Merrimack, NH

Performance Review:                     Annually

 

Primary Purpose

  • Turn customer Inquiries from VIP website for Tire Quotes, Tire Appointment Requests, Service Estimates and Service Appointment Requests into sales at the stores
  • Assist customers through our live chat feature with any questions or needs. (Tire Pricing, General Questions, Customer Feedback, Appointment Request, Etc.)
  • Process all VIP website tire orders. Ensure tires are in stock or on order. Notify customer of any issues and work with them to resolve said issue. Relay all info accurate and effectively to the corresponding store.
  • Answer overflow calls to stores and turn them into visits to the stores.

Responsibilities

Communication with customers

  • Reply in a timely manner (as quick as possible) to all customer inquiries from VIP website and live chat, using the most effective and proven ways to ensure a reply from the customer
  • Turn every customer inquiry into a conversation, either over email, phone, or live chat (phone preferred for website request)
  • Use selling skills and closing tactics to turn every customer conversation into a confirmed appointment at a VIP store
  • Follow up contact with each customer after their appointment to ensure their complete satisfaction with their experience at VIP

Communication with VIP Store Associates

  • Call store personnel when necessary to confirm local tire inventory required for tire installation appointments
  • Call store personnel to book appointments for customers (Tire Appointments and Service Appointments

  • Must be a proactive person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works with a heightened sense of urgency, and seeks achievement through closing the sale (confirming a booked appointment)

Great Communicator

  • Must be a very effective communicator, both over phone and as well as over email
  • Must be able to adapt communication style to that of a customer in order to be most effective and relate to each and every customer

Team Player

  • Must be a great team player, and have the ability to work seamlessly between personnel across all VIP locations on behalf of customers

Experience

  • The Ideal Candidate will be expected to have a vast knowledge of the Automotive industry. Candidates should have both hands on repair experience and customer service experience.

Compensation

  • Negotiable, based on current position, background and experience. Includes bonus opportunities based on confirming appointments at stores, customer survey score and growing tire sales.
