Job description

Because of our rapid growth, we have multiple Customer Support Agent positions open. These positions are part-time (20 hours per week) and seasonal (Some positions run from mid-September to April, others from December through April). There may be an option to work summer and fall based on performance. Flexible shifts.
Please note: Remote positions are not available to college-age applicants. We require college-age applicants to work in a Support Center.
Responsibilities
Customer Support Agents assist customers by responding to their questions and helping them navigate the software so they can successfully file their tax returns. We respond to customer questions via e-mail and live chat.
Qualifications
Some things we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Aptitude for learning and using basic computer software
  • Good English written and oral communication skills
  • Interest in and ability to problem solve
  • Previous customer service experience - a plus, but not required
  • Tax knowledge/prep experience - a plus, but not required
Details
  • Starting pay is $17/hour.
  • We offer raises each year you return and a very generous bonus at the end of tax season.

  • This is not a work-from-home opportunity.
  • We provide paid, remote training during the first few weeks of your regular schedule.
  • One shift on the weekend (either Saturday or Sunday...your choice) is required each week.
  • You will definitely learn more about taxes, but you don't need to be a tax expert to succeed.
