Job description

We are seeking an IT Application Support Specialist to join our team! You will resolve computer-related issues and installation for our clients using our ERP system, OMS. OMS is available on both the cloud and on-premise, and your role is to help maintain and resolve customer issues that arise on both the on-premise and cloud version.

This role involves troubleshooting and installation of our software system on a customer's hardware and server configuration. As new and existing clients purchase and subscribe to our services, your role will be to ensure that customers have the proper configuration and setup needed to go live.

We are a small, close-knit company, and work in a fast paced environment. You will be expected to work cross functionally in other operations of our company, such as sales and software engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation of the on-premise version of OMS ERP, including initial installation, updates, and configuration that is needed to get customers live
  • Assist customers in converting existing data from their previous software to OMS
  • Configure our cloud ERP including user onboarding, creation, and maintenance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot cloud ERP issues
  • Answer phone calls from our main support line and resolve customer issues during business hours
  • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Track customer issues and resolutions
  • Occasional local travel to customer onsite for installation and configuration (suspended during COVID-19)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server setup and maintenance
  • Experience in Networking (e.g. DNS, ports), Windows Domain and Workgroup setup
  • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields
  • (nice to have) Fluency in SQL and Microsoft's Remote Desktop Service
  • (nice to have) Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
  • (nice to have) Knowledge of warehousing, supply chain, e-commerce, and accounting principles
