Job description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our City Litter Crew. As a Crew Member, you will work as part of a team responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public streets within the cityof Houston. This role plays a vital part in promoting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.ย ย 

***Due to the nature of our program, those with documented disabilities will be considered first.***

  • Collect and properly dispose of litter and debris from designatedย streets within your assigned area.
  • Operate basic tools and equipment such as litter grabbersย and trash bags.
  • Work collaboratively with team members under the supervision of the Litter Crew Driver to cover assigned routes efficiently.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by employer.
  • Report hazardous materialsย to supervisor.
  • Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Capable of walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Dependable and punctual.

Work Environment:

  • Outdoor work in urban environments.
