Responsibilities
  • The Alumus Corporate Paralegal role supports the Legal Department on a wide range of corporate, regulatory, transactional, governance, entity management, contract review, risk management, claims, litigation and other related matters.
  • This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to serve clinical, operational, business, corporate and executive teams, in fast-paced and heavily regulated healthcare sectors.

Qualifications
  • Associate's, Bachelor's, or higher-level degree.
  • 5+ years of legal services experience in a law firm or in-house legal department in relevant area(s). Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Significant healthcare and/or commercial contract review experience.Experience in United States healthcare regulatory frameworks.
  • Understanding of healthcare legal and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple simultaneous time- sensitive projects.
  • Ability to appropriately manage privileged and confidential information.
  • Team-oriented collaborative approach to client service.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe, and legal management systems/processes, data and record keeping.
