Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
  • CPA candidates preferred
  • Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

The Forensic and Litigation Associates work as a member of the Client Services group and can expect a diverse experience ranging from accounting procedures for litigation engagements to the performance of business appraisal and valuation services. This position performs many duties of an advance level forensic and litigation support accountant including working directly for corporate clients, under the supervision of upper level management. 

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Develop and execute workplans for dispute engagements, forensic accounting investigations, and business valuation engagements.

  • Complete detailed calculations, such as economic damages in complex litigation matters. 

  • Assist with the preparation of client deliverables, including presentations, expert witness reports and accompanying exhibits, trial demonstratives, etc.

  • Assist with managing client relationships, including serving as a primary point of contact.

  • Complete research: industry, business, technical accounting and economic damage guidance, etc.

  • Balance multiple client engagements and other responsibilities.

  • Proactively communicate efficiently and effectively to all levels of the engagement team.

  • Participate in training, staff development, and building an inclusive and collaborative team environment.

  • Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality, and personal conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in forensic accounting and/or litigation support consulting

  • 1 year of supervisory experience 

  • CPA designation

  • Possession or active pursuit of relevant credentials (CFE, CFF, ACAMS, ABV, etc.)

  • Master's degree in accounting or related field
