Job Description

Addison Group is partnering with our client to identify an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a full-time opportunity in Dallas, TX. This role supports attorneys handling complex litigation matters and requires a highly organized professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. The ideal candidate brings extensive litigation experience, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to supporting cases through all phases of the litigation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support from case inception through resolution, including trial and post-trial activities.
  • Organize, maintain, and manage large volumes of case-related documents, evidence, and electronic files.
  • Coordinate and assist with all phases of discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses, preparing deposition materials, and supporting expert witness matters.
  • Manage document review projects and production processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with case requirements.
  • Analyze case materials and prepare summaries of key documents, deposition testimony, witness interviews, and court proceedings.
  • Conduct legal and factual research utilizing online databases and legal research platforms.
  • Support motion practice by preparing filing materials, exhibits, and service documentation while coordinating court submissions.
  • Draft routine legal documents, correspondence, notices, pleadings, and other litigation-related materials.
  • Review filings and case documents to ensure compliance with applicable court rules, procedural requirements, and formatting standards.
  • Assist with trial preparation by organizing exhibits, maintaining case calendars, coordinating witness logistics, and preparing trial notebooks.
  • Support post-trial activities, including preparation of related filings and organization of records for potential appeals.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and case activity records.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, court personnel, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient case management.
  • Provide additional litigation and administrative support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program preferred.
  • Paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex litigation matters through trial.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures, filing requirements, and litigation workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Skilled in preparing legal summaries, reports, pleadings, and case-related documentation.
  • Experience with trial preparation, exhibit management, witness coordination, subpoena processing, and courtroom support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, document management systems, and litigation support software.
  • Experience with e-filing platforms and legal technology tools such as Relativity, Opus 2, or similar applications preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work additional hours when needed to support case demands and trial schedules.
