Moss Berg Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Personal Injury Case Manager to join our growing pre-litigation team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong client relationships, and takes pride in guiding injured clients through the claims process from intake through settlement.
 
As a Case Manager, you will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, medical providers, and insurance companies while helping ensure every case receives exceptional attention and care. We are looking for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding client service.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
 
Client Care & Case Management
·         Conduct detailed client and potential client intakes.
·         Guide clients through the claims process and provide exceptional customer service throughout their case.
·         Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment progress, case status, and next steps.
·         Address client concerns promptly and professionally while ensuring a positive client experience.
·         Assist clients with property damage claims and related issues.
 
Claims & File Management
·         Open and process new claims in accordance with firm procedures.
·         Draft and send welcome packets, letters of representation, and other case-related correspondence.
·         Request, obtain, review, and organize police reports, medical records, medical bills, and supporting documentation.
·         Set up subrogation claims and obtain lien information from health insurers and other entities.
·         Accurately document all case activity within the firm's case management system.
·         Maintain organized and complete case files while meeting all deadlines and task requirements.
 
Settlement & Negotiation Support
·         Prepare demand packages for submission to insurance carriers.
·         Request and obtain balance verifications from medical providers.
·         Prepare and submit lien reduction requests.
·         Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding settlement of claims.
·         Coordinate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
 
Team Collaboration
  • Work independently, and closely with attorneys, case managers, and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Complete assigned tasks, respond to emails promptly, and ensure all case management software updates are current.
 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Qualifications:
 
Required
·         High school diploma or equivalent.
·         Minimum of one year of personal injury or legal case management experience.
·         Strong understanding of the personal injury claims process.
·         Ability to independently manage a caseload and prioritize competing deadlines.
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
·         Professional demeanor with a commitment to client confidentiality and ethical standards.
·         Experience working with case management software and online platform
 
Preferred  
·         Associate degree in Business, Legal Studies or related field.
·         Bilingual (English/Spanish).
·         Nevada Notary Public certification.
