Job description

Goosmann Law is seeking an experienced Senior Counsel - Litigation Attorney to join the Firm and provide strategic, high-quality legal representation. This senior-level role represents clients in court and in adversarial proceedings, including arbitrations, mediations, and administrative hearings. The ideal candidate is a seasoned litigator who can independently manage complex matters, serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and individuals, and confidently advocate before judges and juries.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex civil and commercial litigation matters.
  • Represent clients in court, mediations, arbitrations, and other adversarial proceedings.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client goals.
  • Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other court filings.
  • Lead discovery, including depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
  • Participate in and lead mediations and settlement negotiations.
  • Manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership efforts.
  • Mentor and supervise attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Required Skills/Abilities
