Job Summary & Responsibilities
The Summer Purchasing Intern will support the Purchasing/Procurement team with daily operations while gaining hands-on experience in supply chain, vendor coordination, and purchasing processes. This role is designed for a motivated student interested in procurement, supply chain management, business operations, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with creating and tracking purchase orders in purchasing systems
  • Support vendor communications, including follow-ups on pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
  • Help maintain accurate purchasing records, files, and databases
  • Support inventory tracking and coordination with internal departments
  • Help ensure purchase orders comply with company policies and procedures
  • Participate in process improvement projects or ad hoc purchasing initiatives
  • Perform general administrative support for the Purchasing team as needed

Qualifications
