Job description


A well-established international technology manufacturer with a long history of innovation in frequency control products and advanced battery technology is seeking a Sales Manager / Engineer to support its growing North American business. The organization provides specialized quartz crystal, oscillator, lithium-ion, and lithium-polymer battery solutions to customers across a variety of industries. This is a remote position within the U.S. offering the opportunity to work with an established global engineering organization while playing a key role in expanding sales, developing customer relationships, and providing technical expertise in lithium battery technology.

About the Role: The Sales Manager / Engineer will be responsible for growing sales within an assigned U.S. territory while serving as a technical resource for customers, representatives, distributors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing customer accounts.
  • Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth for lithium battery and frequency control products.
  • Provide technical expertise and product support related to lithium battery applications across North America.
  • Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other internal departments to resolve technical and customer issues.
  • Partner with international engineering teams to support customer applications and product development needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and developments within the lithium battery market.
  • Maintain accurate customer, project, forecast, milestone, and activity information within the CRM/SAP system.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory and North America as needed, with overnight travel of up to approximately 30%.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline relevant to lithium battery technology.
  • 3+ years of sales and technical support experience within the lithium battery industry.

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer applications and recommend technical solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and manage a designated territory.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • SAP experience is beneficial.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and passport required.
  • Must be authorized and able to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, including up to approximately 30% overnight travel.
