These listings typically include details such as the property's price, location, features, photos, and contact information for the seller or agent. Listings are published on various platforms, including Multiple Listing Services (MLS), real estate websites, and print media, making it easier for buyers or renters to find suitable properties. Effective listings play a crucial role in attracting potential buyers or tenants and facilitating real estate transactions.

How does a listings specialist typically collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate property information?

A Listings Specialist works closely with sales agents, marketing teams, and administrative staff to gather, verify, and update property details across listing platforms. This collaboration ensures that descriptions, pricing, and photos are accurate and compliant with industry standards. Regular communication is essential, as Listings Specialists often coordinate with agents for updates and with marketing to optimize presentation. This teamwork helps maintain high-quality listings, which directly support the organization's reputation and sales goals.

Whether someone needs to sell quickly or simply wants a hassle-free process, we deliver clear, reliable solutions backed by our "Sell Your House the Easy Way" guarantee.

Our mission is to provide honest solutions for homeowners while strengthening the communities we serve. We believe meaningful work comes from solving real problems for real people, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of service, follow-through, and results.

Our team operates under five core values: Team First, Responsibility, Stewardship, Trustworthiness, and Loyalty. These principles guide how we work, how we serve our customers, and how we hold ourselves accountable to the commitments we make every day.

At TN HomeBuyers, we believe great outcomes come from people who take ownership, support their team, and consistently deliver on what they promise.

Position Overview

As a Residential Listing Agent, every appointment you attend has already been generated, qualified, and scheduled by our Marketing and Lead Intake teams. Your responsibility is to build trust, understand the homeowner's goals, present the best solution, and secure the listing agreement.

This role is ideal for a licensed real estate professional who enjoys face-to-face consultations, consultative selling, and helping homeowners navigate one of their biggest financial decisions. Success comes from strong communication, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to convert qualified opportunities into signed listings consistently.

Duties include:
  • Attend company-provided listing appointments with qualified homeowners.
  • Evaluate each property's condition, market value, and seller objectives to recommend the best solution.
  • Present listing agreements and negotiate terms that align with both the homeowner's goals and company objectives.
  • Determine when a traditional listing or a cash offer is the most appropriate solution.
  • Capture property photos, gather property information, and document repair needs during appointments.
  • Prepare pricing recommendations, listing documentation, and MLS information for properties moving to market.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and timely communication with homeowners throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct consistent follow-up on active opportunities to maximize listing conversion and ensure no qualified lead is left behind.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Intake, Acquisitions, Marketing, and Transaction teams to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training to continuously improve performance.
Ideal Candidate Experience and Skill-Sets
  • Active Tennessee Real Estate License required.
  • Experience conducting listing appointments, buyer consultations, or seller presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and overcome objections.
  • Strong understanding of residential real estate values, pricing strategies, and MLS systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility.
  • Organized with disciplined follow-up habits and accurate CRM documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a performance-based environment with measurable goals.
  • Coachable, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
What do I get?
  • Uncapped commission opportunities
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid holidays and vacation
  • Retirement plan with a company contribution match
