Job description

SUMMARY The Brake Press Operator uses CNC hydraulic press brakes to bend steel parts into various shapes based on customer drawings. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Comply with the Rights Responsibilities for All Employees listed in the Employee Handbook. 2. Setup, operate, and troubleshoot CNC hydraulic press brakes. 3. Complete work according to Forming schedule or as instructed by Supervisor. 4. Process parts according to instructions listed on Forming work order/drawings. 5. Perform material handling activities manually and using overhead crane. 6. Perform required equipment, safety, and quality inspections. 7. Generate NCR (non-conformance report) for parts that are not to standard. 8. Complete necessary paperwork when required. 9. Demonstrate safe work habits at all times. 10. Perform basic equipment maintenance and report maintenance issues as needed. 11. Maintain an organized work area. 12. Comply with our Client's quality system requirements as documented through the ISO 9001:2015 standard. 13. Comply with with our client's Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the ISO 14001:2015 standard.
