Job description

Join Our Laboratory Team:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our clinical laboratory team. In this full-time role, you will perform laboratory testing that supports physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality results.

Schedule:
  • Full-Time, Permanent.
  • Varied 8-hour shifts.
  • 80 hours per two-week pay period.
  • Weekend and occasional on-call coverage may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing.
  • Operate laboratory instruments and automated analyzers.
  • Process and document specimens using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
  • Maintain quality control and follow laboratory safety standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Current Oregon MLT license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • ASCP, NCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment, automated analyzers, microscopes, and LIS/HIS systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
