Job description

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and process customer transactions.
  • Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and other approved forms of payment accurately.
  • Verify customer identification and comply with all applicable laws and store policies regarding age-restricted sales.
  • Provide customers with helpful and knowledgeable service regarding store products and locations.
  • Answer customer questions and assist customers in locating products.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer and follow established cash-handling procedures.
  • Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, cleaning, and other general store duties as needed.
  • Monitor the sales area and report any customer, product, safety, or security concerns to management.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Whitefish Liquor Store.
