Job Purpose:
The Room Supervisor oversees front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support front desk staff in daily operations, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest inquiries.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate front desk team members to maintain high service standards.

  • Handle guest complaints and issues promptly, resolving them to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor and manage room inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient allocation of rooms.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.

  • Implement and maintain front desk procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and service quality.

  • Prepare and manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.

  • Perform administrative tasks such as reporting, record-keeping, and inventory management.

  • Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred.

  • Familiarity with PMS (Property Management System) software a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a productive pace without sacrificing quality.

  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
