Senior Security Architect - AI/CI

Everpure

Lehi, UT

Full-time

PTO

Re-posted yesterday

Job description

THE ROLE

As a Senior Security Architect at Everpure, you will drive the critical mission of embedding robust security by design across our global cloud, infrastructure, and platform environments. Partnering closely with engineering and security teams, you will champion risk-prioritized decisions that seamlessly balance strict protection with operational scalability and product velocity. This role empowers technical leaders to operate at a strategic level of abstraction, solving real-world design trade-offs to safeguard the Everpure Platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Architect Secure Multi-Cloud Environments: Define, promote, and threat-model secure design patterns across public and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure Everpure's global infrastructure and platform services are inherently resilient against sophisticated threats.
  • Guide Engineering & Scale Risk Advisory: Partner closely with product, platform, and engineering teams as a trusted security advisor, integrating secure principles directly into active development workflows and guiding implementation to achieve optimal security outcomes without slowing delivery velocity.
  • Optimize Telemetry & Detection Signal Quality: Collaborate with Security Operations to leverage infrastructure log data and telemetry platforms (like Splunk), architecting scalable data pipelines and modern, AI-assisted analytics to drastically enhance visibility and detection logic.
  • Drive Security Automation & Hardening: Design and deploy robust security automation using Python and APIs to scale protective workflows, while providing hands-on leadership for system hardening (including Linux security), identity management, and network segmentation across the organization.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong foundation in security engineering, with experience designing and implementing real-world solutions.
  • Cloud Security Architecture Expertise: Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive security architectures for public and hybrid cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP), with deep fluency in network segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), and zero-trust principles.
  • Technical Engineering Mastery: Advanced technical proficiency in foundational security engineering, including hands-on experience with Linux system hardening, writing production-grade automation scripts using Python (or equivalent), and engineering visibility utilizing SIEM/logging platforms like Splunk or ELK.
  • Pragmatic Collaboration & Technical Judgment: Strong capability to evaluate complex system architectures, negotiate real-world risk trade-offs with engineering partners, and articulate technical recommendations clearly to both engineers and leadership to maintain velocity.
  • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Lehi, UT office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
