Job Type:Full Time / Contract to Hire
Work Authorization: No Sponsorship
The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Linux Administrator. Ideal candidates must have 1+ years Redhat OpenShift experience and 2+ years of experience supporting a Redhat/OEL enterprise environment (100+ servers).
Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain infrastructure components in a physical/virtualized Linux Environment
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of all aspects of Linux servers
  • Deployment and migration of applications and Oracle databases
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and resolve failures and critical alerts on Linux Systems
  • Write and troubleshoot Linux Shell Scripts
  • Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting of performance exceptions
  • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning
  • Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on Linux servers

Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution - Required

Certifications:
  • Redhat Linux Certification (RHCSA/RHCT/RHCE) - Preferred

Experience Required:
  • Linux Server Administration (Redhat/Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL)) - 2+ years
  • Building and managing Redhat Openshift based virtualized environments (Kubernetes/Docker/Containerization) - 1+ years
  • Commvault Backup and EMC Data Domain - 2+ years
  • HCI, VMWare, SAN management and Storage concepts - 2+ years
  • Shell, Perl and/or Python Scripting - 2+ years
  • DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP - 2+ years
  • Experience working in a 100+ server environment - 1+ years
