• Final Top Secret required Job Description: What is the primary mission of this role? • We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our team supporting the SPY-6 Family of Radars. • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT systems that support this critical radar technology. • This role requires expertise in networking, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and troubleshooting, as well as a strong commitment to ensuring system security and availability. • This position also requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support mission-critical operations. What are the main functions of this role? • Administer and maintain systems supporting the SPY-6 radar family, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• Perform system troubleshooting and resolve hardware, software, and network issues as they arise.
• Conduct regular system monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Maintain and configure Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and troubleshoot radar system components.
• Implement and maintain system security measures in accordance with DoD standards and protocols.
• Support network configurations, including IP address management, VLAN configurations, and Layer 3 Switches management.
