About the job Linux Administrator
Glint Tech Solutions is hiring for an urgent Linux Administrator role with a leading federal defense contractor. This position supports ServiceNow MID servers, AWS infrastructure, and secure Linux environments. If you hold an active DoD Secret Clearance and have strong Linux/AWS skills, this role offers visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain ServiceNow MID servers on Linux
  • Manage Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and AWS resources (EC2, RDS, VPCs)
  • Implement security baselines (STIGs, CIS) and system hardening
  • Automate deployments with Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure backups/disaster recovery
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years experience OR Master's + 3 years
  • RHCSA/Linux certification preferred
  • AWS Solutions Architect or SysOps certification strongly preferred
  • 3+ years Linux admin experience, 2+ years AWS hands-on
