We are looking to add software engineers to our development team for a wide array of products including Battle Management, Command & Control, Communications, Effectors, Advanced Sensor Systems, and Surveillance and Warning systems. What You Will Do: * Participate in collaborative, cross-discipline integrated product teams, employ agile software development techniques and resources to develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions for aerospace and defense applications
* Work collaboratively with Systems and Integration Test Engineers to analyze, implement and test system Qualifications You Must Have: * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or similar degree
* Minimum of two (2) or more years of professional experience in software development, integration, and/or test using C++, Java, Ada or similar object-oriented software language
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required, note only U.S. Citizen can obtain security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: * Desire and ability to learn new technologies and tools
* Proven self-motivated problem solver who can look at a situation, identify gaps or issues, and take initiative to resolve them (technically, with process, and with documentation)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements
* Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems
* Experience developing software using Agile techniques such as Scrum, Scrum @ Scale, SAFe or Test-Driven Development
* Experience with integrated development tools such as Azure, Git, Atlassian Suite, Eclipse, and Ansible
* Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) pipeline such as Gitlab, Jenkins, or GitHub
* Experience with Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, or other RTOS
* Experience leveraging Generative AI and Machine Learning to improve productivity, collaboration, and performance
* Knowledge of Red Hat and/or Linux Operating Systems

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
