Job description

RMC is hiring a System Administrator to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA.
The selected applicant will possess the following qualifications:
  • Experience in conducting patch and STIG to Linux Operating System.
  • Experience in providing technical support to resolve issues with Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience in performing system updates and server configurations, to include upgrades of the Linux/Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience in implementing changes to locally hosted workstations/servers.

  • Two (2) years of demonstrated experience administering Linux Operating Systems.

CERTIFICATION:
  • CompTIA Sec+ or GSEC or SSCP or CySA+ (Per DoD Directive 8570.01-M or successor, this position requires IAT Level 2 or higher certification).
  • Certification in Linux system administration.

CLEARANCE:
  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to start.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.
  • Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
