ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Technical Support Engineer II at LVT, you will independently troubleshoot and resolve routine to moderately complex technical issues affecting our deployed units. You will work to maintain system uptime by diagnosing connectivity and performance issues across cellular, LAN, and Linux-based systems. You will collaborate with other teams, partners, and customers to deliver high-quality remote support and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Independently resolve incidents involving cellular, LAN, or Linux-based systems on deployed units
  • Diagnose system issues using log analysis, diagnostic tools, and documented processes
  • Make configuration changes to improve system and network performance
  • Document troubleshooting steps, diagnosis, and resolution in detail
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers via tickets, chat, or phone to coordinate resolution
  • Provide input to improve standard operating procedures and team documentation
  • Collaborate with peers and escalate when appropriate
  • Complete one-off projects with a technical scope of work as assigned by your manager

  • Technical certification or professional experience in Network and Linux systems administration
  • Strong written documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize across multiple active incidents
  • Strong analytical and technical diagnostic skills
PRIORITIES
  1. Respond to and resolve high-priority escalations in a timely manner
  2. Progress, update, or reassign assigned incidents in ServiceNow
  3. Review newly assigned group incidents and triage accordingly
  4. Complete project work as assigned
