  • Experience supporting backup and restoration for Windows and Linux servers, virtualized environments, file services, databases, and cloud workloads.
  • Specific knowledge of on-premises solutions including NAS devices exposed by a SAN, snapshots, deduplication, file partitioning, and segmentation.
  • Working knowledge of backup architecture, retention, replication, recovery points, immutability, encryption, storage repositories, and data lifecycle management
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex backup failures and successfully execute restoration and recovery procedures
  • Familiarity with RPO, RTO, disaster recovery, business continuity, change management, incident management, and operational documentation practices
