Job description

System Administrator

We are looking for an energetic, ambitious System Administrator who wants to grow within the Microsoft ecosystem, IT infrastructure, and security. This role is hands-on (tickets, user support, day-to-day administrative work), and is a great fit for someone with a solid foundation in the Microsoft stack who's eager to develop into more complex technical and compliance work over time.

In this role, you will:

  • Handle tickets and day-to-day user requests, providing quality IT support;
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft Defender;
  • Manage devices via Intune: provisioning, compliance policies, application deployment;
  • Support information security practices and help with preparation and maintenance of SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 compliance (under senior guidance);
  • Track software licensing and help identify cost optimisation opportunities;
  • Coordinate with vendors and handle hardware procurement and maintenance;
  • Use AI tools to speed up incident investigation and help compensate for gaps in experience in unfamiliar situations;
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base.

If you have:

  • Solid knowledge of the Microsoft stack: Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID, Defender;
  • 3+ years of experience as a system administrator, in IT support, or a related role;
  • A good level of English (spoken and written) is required, as direct communication with an international team is part of the job;
  • Proactiveness and a genuine desire to grow;
  • Service-oriented mindset and the ability to communicate with users of varying technical backgrounds;
  • Troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn quickly.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with or interest in PowerShell and IT process automation;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate / Power Apps;
  • Awareness of ISO 27001 / SOC 2 topics.
