Job Summary:
Electrosoft Services, LLC is an award-winning company that provides comprehensive technology-based solutions and services to federal customers. They are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator – Linux to support a mission-critical federal program, focusing on designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux environments.
Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server environments (v8v9).
• Develop and maintain advanced automation scripts using BASH, Perl, JavaScript, or Python.
• Perform administration and O&M tasks from the command line.
• Manage task automation using tools like Ansible and RHEL Satellite.
• Handle package management across geographically dispersed environments.
• Configure and manage NFTables, Firewalld, IPTables, ISC2 BIND DNS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, Postfix/SMTP Relay.
• Administer Linux Server Clustering, NFSv3/NFSv4, PXE boot, and SELinux.
• Support Mirantis Container Runtime (formerly Docker), AWS, and GitLab.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations, processes, and service records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT infrastructure projects.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity and performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with security hardening standards (CIS, NIST SP 80053 Rev. 5, DISA STIGs).
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
