Job Summary:
Hyundai AutoEver America is pioneering the future of mobility by integrating cloud-based service infrastructure with advanced core vehicle software technologies. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and be responsible for establishing direction for maintenance, standards, life-cycle management, design, and implementation approaches for the company’s servers and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to improving various IT process and procedure including change management, incident management, standard operation procedure
• Manage assigned tasks and quickly respond to and process IT tickets using ITSM in a timely and reliable manner
• Implement Windows/Linux Server/Storage Environment Monitoring System
• Monitor server performance, analyze performance metrics, and proactively optimize server resources to ensure efficient and responsive operations.
• Develop/test and analyze new technical solutions to problems
• Detect, diagnose, and troubleshoot server malfunctions
• Maintain a current inventory of all Windows/Linux assets, purchase history, and warranty data.
• Oversee the operation, performance, and availability of Windows/Linux servers, including roles such as Patch management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, and other server-related functionalities
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues on Windows/Linux servers. Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect Windows/Linux servers from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies for Windows/Linux servers to ensure data integrity and facilitate timely recovery in case of system failures or data loss
• Perform backup and restore of databases and all Windows/Linux servers
• Manage software installations, updates, and licenses for applications running on Windows/Linux servers. Ensure software compliance and compatibility within the server environment
• Manage virtualization platforms and cloud-based resources within the Windows/Linux server environment. Optimize resource utilization and maintain virtualized instances
• Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks and administrative processes within the Windows/Linux server environment. PowerShell scripting skills are often essential
• Collaborate with IT leadership to assess server capacity needs and plan for future growth. Recommend hardware upgrades or additions as necessary
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Share knowledge and provide training to team members
• Collaborate with vendors to procure, support, and maintain server hardware and software. Manage vendor relationships and service agreements
• Contribute to IT projects involving Windows/Linux server/Storage environments, providing technical expertise and support for planning, implementation, and testing
• Manage & coordinate projects from the initial requirement to the completion stage, ensuring appropriate documentation and completion
• Conduct/Lead formal project meetings with the team, other departments, and customers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology major required
• At least 5 years of experience as the primary administrator for Windows/Linux Servers, VMware, SAN, Windows/Linux AD and M365 administration
• At least 2 years of project management/coordination role for IT infrastructure
• Excellent communication skill in verbal and written English
• Ability to promptly learn new technologies with limited training resource
• Ability to think logically, analyze issues, and implement appropriate solutions.
• Ability to complete projects on time
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to interact positively with internal and external customers
