Job description

Position Title: System Administrator

Location: Doral, FL

Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Responsibilities (including, but not limited): 

  • Supporting infrastructure services, operations, and maintenance across multiple geographic locations and networks 
  • Planning, building, patching, and maintaining servers in a production environment 
  • Hardware configuration; server setup; software/OS installation; and applications implementation, upgrade, security, and auditing 
  • Providing technical support for internal clients and proactive problem identification to maintain system availability, as well as root-cause analysis for any system failures 
  • Enhancing operations and efficiency in accordance with the mission requirements 
  • Evaluating and recommending hardware and software upgrades and must be able to design and plan for the growth of the infrastructure 
  • Completing projects within agreed to timelines and within pre-defined budgetary constraints 
  • Administration of Windows based servers and associated software applications 
  • Maintaining high quality documentation, willing to capture details and keep comprehensive change management records.
  • Other duties as assumed 
  • 3+ years’ experience managing systems and the various data sources. 
  • Proficient with Linux Red Hat, Windows operating systems and servers; virtual machine environment setup configuration and maintenance. 
  • Proficient in performing Information Assurance (IA) scans across multiple operation systems, Servers, Workstations, and other End Points. 
  • Must have Security + and Microsoft Windows Server certifications. 
  • 3+ years’ experience with data management, discovery, and visualization techniques 
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
