Job Title: Linux Admin
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Day 1 Onsite)
Job Type: Contract (Long Term)
Experience: Mid to Senior level
Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Linux Admin with a strong DevOps background to join their team in Phoenix, AZ on a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will combine deep Linux administration expertise with hands-on software development and DevOps tooling skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Linux servers, storage, and network infrastructure
  • Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Artifactory
  • Collaborate using DevOps tools including SonarQube, Slack, Confluence, and Jira
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Charts
  • Support elastic logging frameworks and message queue systems such as Kafka
  • Apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Terraform and Ansible
  • Contribute to AI-related initiatives including MCP server implementation and programming with AI copilot tools
Required Skills
  • Linux server administration, storage, and networking
  • Software development in Java, Python, NodeJS, or Go
  • CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Artifactory
  • Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm Charts, JFrog
  • Scripting: Shell Scripting
  • Databases: PostgreSQL and general database concepts
