Job Description
Our team in Pensacola, FL has an immediate need for a Linux Administrator with demonstrated experience performing Linux maintenance and administrative tasks on a complex enterprise-scale network. This is not a work from home position. Employee will need to report to office daily.
Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Diagnose and repair Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0 and newer operating systems
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring and maintenance for Linux Systems including authoritative and recursive DNS, firewalls, and databases
  • Review and update STIG requirements and checklists and remediate/document findings as needed
  • Diagnose and repair remote Linux systems running in a VMWare environment
  • Troubleshoot and maintain numerous applications running on Linux systems including DNS, NTP, and Postfix
  • Be available for modified shifts when working high priority tasking.

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Security+ or equivalent certification

The anticipated salary range for this role is $99,000 to $102,000 annually. The anticipated salary range for this position is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
