Position Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects by leveraging their expertise in Linux-based systems and cloud technologies.
As a DevOps Engineer at CGI Federal, you will be responsible for understanding the overall CI/CD pipeline as well as deploying and configuring services using Infrastructure as a Service providers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving continuous improvement and automation.
This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Implementing and executing processes to create and fully maintain automated CI / CD pipelines for application deployments
• Manage version control systems
• Configure, build, deploy, and manage containers
• Provide technical expertise to ensure the ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of client applications.
• Configure and manage Linux-based servers to serve a dynamic website.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 3+ Years' experience implementing a cloud-based solution
• 3+ Years experience with Git/Gitlab, Terraform (or similar IaC tool) and AWS
• Possess experience working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
• Be comfortable with Agile approaches.
• Have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Possess strong troubleshooting skills

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $80,600.00 - $128,400.00.
