Job description

Overview
We are looking for a Technology Project Manager to join one of our front office trading technology teams. This team partners closely with team across traders, developers, engineers, operations, compliance, legal, and global stakeholders to support new initiatives, business process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-team project execution.
The right person will start with strong core project management responsibilities and grow into a desk-aligned, business-aware partner who understands what is driving a project, how the trading desk operates, and how to help move work forward across technology and non-technology teams.
In this role, you will:
  • Partner directly with traders, developers, engineers, operations, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders to coordinate and execute initiatives
  • Build business and trading context to understand project priorities, risks, dependencies, and downstream impact
  • Track project owners, dates, blockers, decisions, risks, dependencies, and open questions
  • Coordinate projects that may begin as business, regulatory, operational, or vendor-driven efforts but ultimately create technology requirements
  • Own project tracking, documentation, and communication using tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Serve as a connector and translator between global technology teams and business stakeholders across trading, legal, operations, and corporate functions

What we're looking for
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, business analysis, technical analysis, or a related project execution role
  • Strong ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders with minimal oversight
  • Ability to understand technical systems, data flows, dependencies, and upstream/downstream impacts
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, including tracking owners, dates, blockers, decisions, risks, and follow-ups
  • Experience translating business needs into clear project plans, requirements, and execution steps
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments where priorities can change quickly
  • Experience with project tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to work in our Bala Cynwyd, PA office with occassional travel

Preferred:
  • Exposure to trading systems, market data, risk systems
  • Experience working in financial services, trading, capital markets, or another highly regulated technical environment
  • SQL experience or comfort working with data to support analysis, validation, reconciliation, or investigation
  • Python experience or familiarity with scripting and automation
  • Comfort working in Windows and Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools or log analysis
  • Familiarity with AI tools or experience using AI to improve analysis, documentation, workflow efficiency, or project execution
  • Experience coordinating work across global teams or multiple business functions
