Our Technical Trainers are responsible for creating, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs, as well as ensuring training and informational documentation is kept up to date by working with key stakeholders across the company. This position plays a key role in the onboarding of new hires both locally and remotely and facilitates continuing education trainings, development and presentation of training curriculum, and maintenance of Lightedge technical documentation as necessary. This position reports to the Manager of Education Services and works closely with all departments to ensure continued customer and employee success.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and conduct technical training programs and sessions for new hires and existing employees
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and curriculum used by Operations Teams including but not limited to:
    • Knowledge Base Articles
    • Training Videos
    • Live Training Templates
    • Presentation Materials
  • Assist with identifying training resources to define operational growth paths
  • Present training workshop and refresher courses to employees
  • Identify operational problems and determine specific training needs
  • Conduct individual and team skill gap analysis
  • Gather feedback from trainees and instructors and recommend suggestions to the learning process
  • Track training tasks and goals in applicable platforms
Education and Experience:
  • Presentation Experience
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical and non-technical processes
  • Process / Documentation Creation
  • Experience providing technical training
  • Experience with trouble ticketing platforms
  • Experience with knowledge management platforms
  • Demonstrated technical support history and understanding of technical problem resolution
  • Additional certification in training (e.g. Certified Technical Trainer) is a plus
