Job Description

We are seeking an aspiring Backend Software Engineer to join our Product Development Team at Delsys. Youโ€™ll help build the core infrastructure behind our signal acquisition and processing software, powering innovative solutions for wearable physiological sensors and real-world health applications.

Weโ€™re looking for engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems, building scalable systems, and contributing meaningfully to product development. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Architect and develop backend systems for our core products, including body-worn physiological measurement devices.
  • Design and implement APIs and software components that integrate seamlessly across our product lines.
  • Build robust data management strategies using modern frameworks and technologies.
  • Develop drivers and communication protocols for custom PC peripherals.
  • Translate cutting-edge research into production-ready software solutions that make a real-world impact.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • A degree (or near completion) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and MVVM (or MVC) architectural patterns.
  • Experience developing backend systems for Windows or Linux environments.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with wearable tech, real-time data processing, or signal acquisition.
  • Must be able to show valid work eligibility.
