Job Description

This role will be based in New York, Chicago or San Francisco Bay Area
Solutions Marketing sits within the Integrated Marketing organization, and this leadership role is responsible for defining how LinkedIn positions and brings its solutions to market through solution narratives, customer storytelling, and major go-to-market moments.
The Solutions team develops scalable, customer-facing narratives that create a multiplier effect across the organization, helping LinkedIn show up coherently and competitively in the market. By simplifying product complexity into clear, differentiated, outcome-driven solutions, Solutions Marketing equips customers, marketers, and sellers with compelling stories that shift perception, accelerate adoption, and drive revenue growth.
Beyond narrative development, Solutions Marketing helps shape go-to-market strategy by aligning cross-functional teams around customer needs and business priorities. Partnering closely with Brand Marketing to shape integrated campaign strategy, this leader ensures solution narratives are consistently activated across thought leadership, content, events, learning, digital marketing, and sales enablement-creating a more connected customer experience and stronger commercial impact.
This is a highly cross-functional leadership role requiring exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will excel at influencing and aligning teams across Product, Marketing, and Sales while building and developing a high-performing team. Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Culture
  • Define and communicate a clear vision for Solutions Marketing, aligning teams around shared priorities and business outcomes
  • Build and develop a high-performing, inclusive team culture grounded in trust, accountability, openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Create clarity and direction for teams and stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Establish Solutions Marketing as a strategic partner across Product, Marketing, and Sales

Solutions Strategy, Narratives
  • Define the solution narratives that shape how LinkedIn brings its products and solutions to market
  • Translate product capabilities into customer problems into customer-first, outcome-driven stories that simplify complexity and differentiate LinkedIn in the marketplace
  • Develop scalable messaging frameworks, sales narratives, and commercial storytelling that support solution adoption and revenue growth
  • Integrate customer insights, market trends, and thought leadership into solution narratives to help the organization anticipate and respond to evolving customer needs
  • Establish and maintain the narrative architecture that aligns solution positioning across marketing and sales
  • Lead cross-product storytelling that strengthens LinkedIn's value proposition and commercial priorities

Go-to-Market Strategy & Commercial Impact
  • Shape solution-level go-to-market strategies in partnership with Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Sales
  • Partner closely with Brand Marketing to shape integrated campaign strategy and activate solution narratives across customer touchpoints
  • Act as a strategic integrator across Product, Marketing, and Sales to create a more connected customer experience
  • Support major tentpole events, executive keynotes, launches, and other strategic commercial moments
  • Drive global adoption of solution narratives through sales enablement, marketing activation, and cross-functional alignment
  • Define success metrics and measure the business impact of solution narratives, go-to-market activation, and solution adoption

Operational Excellence
  • Prioritize the highest-impact opportunities based on business goals, customer needs, and commercial priorities
  • Balance long-term strategic initiatives with near-term business demands and stakeholder requests
  • Provide transparency on team priorities, resourcing, and trade-offs to leadership
  • Establish clear objectives, operating rhythms, and accountability mechanisms to maximize team effectiveness
  • Continuously raise the bar on narrative quality, strategic impact, and operational excellence

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years experience in marketing, product marketing, brand strategy, advertising, or commercial storytelling roles
  • 5+ years Experience in team management and influencing senior stakeholders
  • 10 + years experience with strategic storytelling and narrative development capabilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to simplify complex products into customer-centric value propositions
  • Strong operational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
  • Experience supporting executive keynotes, tentpole events, or large-scale commercial moments
  • Passion for marketing, advertising, storytelling, and building impactful customer experiences
  • B2B marketing experience in the marketing or advertising industry
  • Experience developing strategic narratives, messaging frameworks, or customer-facing GTM storytelling

The pay range for this role is $178,000-$288,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
