Job description

JOB SUMMARY: Utilize manual skills in collecting, marking, sorting, finishing, and distributing linens and garments. Maintenance and dispersion of linen supplies. Maintain proper inventory levels and stock linen carts.
WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 4am-12pm, some weekends may be required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Demonstrates typical cross training skills in linen handling procedures during routine work activities.
• Conveys materials from receiving area to storage or to other designated areas.
• Ability to perform quality checks on linen before distributing to the designated areas.
• Sets up, configures, and reorganizes supply cabinets or areas to maximize inventories; maintains inventory records.
• Coordinates with other Linen Services Technicians when the supervisor is away from location or involved in activities the require full attention.
• Routinely maintains work area.
• Assists nursing personnel with any linen issues.
• Adheres to internal controls established for department.
• Performs related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
No experience required. Must be able to be verified during background check process.
